Choose handmade for the Holidays

The Holiday season is upon us and so is the big "gift dilemma". Choosing the right gift for your loved one can be difficult, particularly when you're shopping for somebody who seems to have absolutely everything already! We spend so much time cruising the stores and navigating the web looking for the perfect gift. Not too expensive, thoughful enough, one of a kind. We go crazy sometimes to find something that says "I thought of you. I know you, and I know exactly what you like". Consider handmade. Whether you choose a unique pottery from a local artist, or put together a basket of homemade goodies picked at the farmers market or go for a beautiful one of a kind knitted scarf, you are choosing a gift with a story behind. A gift that represents the people behind it, their effort, their time and their unique skills. You are choosing a one of a kind, personal, crafted with love gift and you are telling your loved one they are worth all that.

Cison Neck Warmer

Another versatile neck warmer that you can shape in many ways by simply sliding the three wood buttons anywhere through the open lace edge. Knitted with a 100% extrafine Merino wool yarn in a beautiful walnut color. It makes a very warm and soft accessory for the Winter, and a perfect gift for a loved one!Visit my shop on Etsy.com

Mantova Neck Warmer

Another neck warmer on the shelves. For this piece I choose a special yarn (60% Merino Wool, 20% Alpaca and 20% Silk) from the Mirasol Yarn Collection, Peru. The Mirasol Project supports local communities in Peru through the sales of the Mirasol Yarn Collection. Peru's heritage and culture of textile artistry is rich and ancient. The Mirasol Yarn Collection includes yarns made from the animals bred by these communities for generations in the Peruvian highlands. Visit my shop on Etsy.com
